A meaningful life does not exclude grief.
Maybe You’re:
mourning a death or anticipating a loss
struggling with the ending or significant change of a relationship or friendship
managing a changing health status
having a hard time grieving or feeling even if the loss was a while ago
feeling angry, overwhelmed, sad or confused or hopeful
estranged from your family
suffering loss of identity and culture due to death, moving, migration or adoption
mourning who you thought you would be or who you used to be
having a having a hard time dealing with unfulfilled hopes
crying a lot/not crying at all
feeling disconnected
The presence of grief is evidence of love, hope and change. We can hold your grief together.
Grief has changed your life.
You question who you are now. You have a hard time feeling “normal” or are confused on what’s next. You might even resist things changing, although, they already have. You might feel unyielding pain or despair. You feel isolated even though other people may know about your loss. It may be too painful to feel or too overwhelming to talk about, so you might be putting it off.

Grief + Growth + Gratitude
Grief may not be a pleasant experience nor one that you choose. By honoring your grief, we can take in the fullness of who you are. Processing the ways that grief has changed you, revealed about you or made clear about what you need or who you are, means returning you to your life more enlivened.
As your therapist, I’ll help hold you.
You’ll never need to hurry up and forget about it, nor told that what you’re experiencing, whether it’s sadness or anger, is wrong. Instead a relatable, warm presence will be available for you to tell your story, share what’s changed and help guide you into rebuilding.
Grief therapy can help you:
Process and release grief, anger and other overwhelming emotions
Reimagine your future and relationships
Resolve internal conflict
Share unshared stories, memories and hopes
Connect with unrecognized growth
You don’t have to endure grief alone.

The goal of grief therapy isn’t to attempt to get rid of grief. The goal of grief therapy is to learn to live with the loss and change in your life. With mourning practices and honoring grief, grief can feel less intense.
